Room Reservations at the Seattle Sheraton
Beginning Monday, January 18, 2010 at 5:00pm PST reservations will be closed via the online website and 1-800 reservation time. The Sheraton Seattle Hotel will continue to offer the group discounted rate if you contact the hotel directly. For reservations made after Monday, January 18, 2010 please call (206) 447-5547 or email sheraton.seattle@sheraton.com, and be sure to indicate that you are attending the New Partners Conference.

The last day to register for the conference is February 2nd. The online registration system will shut-down at 5:00 PM on February 2nd. The conference is FULL and we will likely NOT be accepting Walk-In Registrations.
EPA, DOT and HUD Secretaries Confirmed to Speak!
The "New Federal Partners for Smart Growth: Leadership to Create Sustainable Communities Across America" plenary will feature U.S. EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson (confirmed), U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood (confirmed), and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan (invited). These federal leaders will provide a perspective on the federal Sustainable Communities Partnership, which seeks to integrate federal decision-making to promote sustainable, livable communities across the country. This dynamic Thursday evening session will highlight the challenges and opportunities the three departments have faced during their collaboration and will provide ideas for how local and state leaders can partner with federal government to implement the sustainability principles that guide the Sustainable Communities Partnership’s efforts.
