Call for Session Proposals
The Local Government Commission (LGC) is conducting a "Call for Session Proposals" (CFSP) for the 2009 New Partners for Smart Growth Conference program. This process will be open from May 19th through June 25th. The submittal review process will take place from early-July through late-August 2008. The LGC will notify all those who have submitted sessions by late September as to whether their proposal was accepted for inclusion in the conference program.
Proposals received after June 25th will not be considered.
Please note: We will only be considering complete session proposals. We will not consider suggestions for general "topic ideas." Submitters are responsible for identifying anticipated speakers for their proposed session. It would be wise to consult with speakers prior to submitting your proposal. Proposing a complete session will enable the review committee to make the best-informed choices regarding which sessions to accept.
